Small and Mighty

Standing at just over a foot and weighing less than 8 pounds, this coffee maker might be small, but it packs a mighty punch, feature-wise.

Let’s start with its sleek design. The matte surface is fingerprint resistant, eliminating the need for constant wiping. It’s small at only 12.5″H x 9.2″W x 11.6″D and takes very little counter space. It’s so portable; you can have a great cup of coffee virtually anywhere.

Quick and Easy (And Quiet, Too!)

It’s so easy to use. Simply fill the water reservoir, place a mug on the drip tray, lift the handle to reveal the K-Cup pod holder, pop in your choice of K-Cup coffee pod, press the handle down to lock and puncture the pod, press the brew size, and wait.

The best part is it only takes exactly 60 seconds to brew a cup of full-flavored coffee. With the strong option, the machine brews for about 90 minutes. While brewing, it’s noticeably quieter than most coffee makers. It barely takes any effort and time!

Stronger is Better

On days when you need an extra bit of caffeine boost, the machine can make your coffee stronger and more intensified. Simply press the “Strong” button, wait, and be amazed at the stronger, richer flavor of your coffee.

Simplicity is Key

There’s a lot to love about the Keurig K-Select Single Serve Coffee Maker. Besides its elegant and portable design, each part that makes up the machine is engineered to perfection. The machine’s interface is simple; unlike other models’ over-engineered and over-designed interfaces that can make you confused before it can make you coffee.

For instance, there are only six buttons on the machine. The power button, four different brew sizes (6, 8, 10, and 12 oz.), and the “strong” option to intensify the coffee’s flavor. There are no complicated steps to follow; just three clicks, and you’re done.

The machine also has three indicator lights. First is the Auto Off. The machine is intuitive and can turn off on its own after 2 hours of inactivity. That’s a great feature to save energy in case you forget to switch it off. You can also turn the feature off by following the steps in the manual.

The second is Descale. This lights up when you need to descale the machine. Descaling should be done every 3 to 6 months to keep your Keurig in tip-top shape. Don’t worry if you forget, though. The machine will remind you.

Lastly, the Add Water light will turn on if the machine needs more water in the reservoir. This machine might be simple, but it’s so intuitive and comes with neat little reminder features.

More Water, Less Work

The water reservoir, unlike other single serve coffee makers, can hold 52 oz. of water. That makes 5 cups of coffee before you need to refill the tank. The water reservoir is detachable for easy cleaning and has tabs that lock securely right into the machine’s slot. It also comes with a water filter which you can use by soaking, rinsing, and placing in the handle. The handle locks in the bottom of the water reservoir.

No Spills, No Frills

The machine’s drip tray can safely hold about 8 oz of overflow catching the mess that would’ve spilled all over your kitchen counters. It’s removable to allow for easy cleaning. It’s also dishwasher safe.

With the drip tray in place, you can fit a mug that’s up to 6 inches tall. Without the drip tray, you can fit a 7-inch tall mug.

Pop and Lock

With this coffee maker, you can use regular K-Cups or a K-Cup universal and reusable coffee filter if you’re using ground coffee. The pod holder has a built-in needle that punctures the K-Cup when you close the handle, so you don’t need to pre-puncture the K-Cup. Just pop and lock.

Cleaning the pod holder is very easy. Just put your finger in the bottom and press up. It should pop right out, and you can then do a quick wash using warm, soapy water. Once washed, pop it back in, press down to lock, and use your coffee machine again.

The Keurig K-Select is Simply Perfect

If you want a great cup of coffee without all the hullabaloo of confusing high-tech nonsense; then this is the coffee maker for you. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to clean.
